Rex

The Infamous Rex. The leader of the opposing and second most powerful faction. Rex's creation is a mystery, he merely appeared and he appeared as the relative of Gex, they do share some kind of reptilian resemblance. It is not known exactly how a wire man can be created with all ready existing relatives as in Rex and Gex's case, it is impossible to have children of their own but somehow family and genetic ties are created between certain individuals such as The Reptilian Brothers. How only the creator knows.

Rex came to the aid of Gex, in the then Dr Longarm's faction, and together they overthrew Dr Longarm and Rex became the new leader. He abolished the previous name and renamed it egotistically after himself as The Rex Faction. Gex was placed as his second in command naturally and together they began their push towards dominance. As the newer generation wire warrior Rex defeated the original form of Ace and crushed the spirits of the remaining XT Faction and imprisoned them to be his slaves and test subjects in his experiments. All was going according to plan until a shocking discovery was made....rebirth.

Ace was reborn in a new and more powerful form and had returned to undo what Rex had done, Rex had barely recovered from the shock of seeing his defeated opponent when he challenged him to combat. Rex was defeated swiftly and the XT Faction was set free and they made their escape. From that day forth Rex has been trying to figure out the mysteries of rebirth and life through his experiments and studies of mutation. These studies led to the creation of his 6 "sons".

Since then Rex went through one rebirth how this was possible even he did not know, his natural time came and as soon as he could remember slipping into darkness he was awake in a new form. In this new hulking form he had gained the 5 finger hands of a newer generation and became the 1st wireman to achieve this. He also created himself a living weapon in the form of a staff that could charge and discharge his own internal energy, making it the most dangerous weapon to Ace.

Rex's new form is much larger than the orginal and is a hulking mass of muscle and stamina. His staff itself is a living creature that Rex created in the form of a weapon to suite his needs and to gain an advantage on Ace, it is never far from his side. Rex himself is an accomplished fighter however speed is not one of his strong points, he prefers to focus on grabbing hold of his opponent and slamming them into submission. His red gauntlet on his left arm allows him to wield and summon his staff if they are seperated in battle.

Of all the factions, Rex's is still the greatest threat to peace in the wire world and as long as Ace is there to stand in Rex's way, Rex will forever attempt to break the rules of wire nature to achieve his goals. Forever locked in combat Rex and Ace will always be the greatest of rivals in the eyes of the Creator.


My big bad guy of the Wire Warriors, Rex's second body was an eperiment in many things, size, shape and the hands of course. I made a few mistakes in proportion such as his feet and length but his overall length and size look pretty good to me. From him I created better hands on Raptor, so Rex was an invaluable experiment.
